COMPETITION INFORMATION

We are looking forward to this years annual club competition and as in previous years they have always proved to be successful and enjoyed by all those that have chosen to take part. 

Competition Status:   Entry to this event closes on: Friday 31st October 2025 (9:00pm) No late entries will be accepted.

Competition Venue:    Middleton Gymnastics Club Bowlee Sports Centre Windermere Road, Middleton, M24 4LA 

Competition Date:       Saturday 20th & Sunday 21st  December 2025

Competition Entry:       The cost of entry is £10 per gymnast and is open to current MGC Members only from all groups with the exception  2 Piece and 4 Piece Squad Gymnasts (Entry is non refundable after the event entry closing date). 

Competition Format:     Participant will complete a floor routine (either to music or without) and a Vault (best score of 2 vaults performed).

Competition Times:     Times will be shown below two weeks before the competition date and are estimated and will also be emailed to the address provided when signing your child up for the event, also a link will be provided on the clubs facebook page.

Competition Day:       As per any competition please ensure your child arrives on time, once the warm-up has started they WILL NOT be allowed to participate. They can wear any leotard they wish, hair needs to be tied up securely and NO jewellery (including ear rings, small studs can be taped up, please ensure this is done before they arrive.)   

Awards:       Every gymnast will receive a participation medal & Certificate, plus there are medals for 1st,2nd& 3rd for each apparatus,   overall medals/trophies, plus other awards.

Spectators: There is no charge to come and watch your child and we will accommodate as many people as possible within the training area, however we do ask you to bare in mind the gym is only small and does not have the capacity to hold 100's of people. Ideally therefore 2 People per participant would be best if possible.
